More Ladore Lodge Moments

As this is being posted, there are sounds of "campers" packing, luggage carts rolling down the halls, voices calling out to be sure everyone is preparing for the ride home today.  It's been a great week of sunrises, storms, sunshine, swimming, birds, biking, boating, swinging, walking, communion with nature, creativity, and so much more!

Dough + Sauce + Cheese + Volunteers = Successful Pizza Luncheon

20 people enjoyed pizza and stromboli at our Free Pop-Up Pizza Luncheon on Friday, March 21!

With so much pizza crust mix left over from a food bank distribution, we had to do something creative with that resource and not let it go to waste.  Thank you to our volunteers who set tables, mixed sauce, assembled stromboli, served residents, washed dishes, and cleaned up after the event.

Without friendly volunteers, we would not have successful events!  Thank you Mallard Run volunteers!

Winter Weather Procedures

Snow removal will begin at the site when the storm ends or the following morning.  If a storm ends at 5:00 PM, staff will begin snow removal in the morning.  We do not want anyone to slip and fall. If you are aware of our policy, it should help you to determine if the time is right to go out.

Our property is large and we cannot get every area done at one time.  Someone will be first and someone will be last.  Please be patient with us during winter weather events and snow removal.  It is physically hard on the staff to clear the entire property and make it safe.   Your patience is very much appreciated.

Our staff cannot clean off or move your car.  Please do not ask them to do this.  We ask that you do not start moving around until we have the opportunity to clear and treat the walks and streets.
